An Affordable Lawyer

You can’t afford not to be represented by an experienced lawyer.

When you become disabled and cannot work, you need a qualified and experienced lawyer to navigate the complex Social Security system and get you the benefits you deserve.  But often people believe that a good Social Security Lawyer will charge expensive fees or an hourly rate.  Disabled people cannot afford that cost – especially if they are unable to work.

McGreal Disability Law, all of our work is done on a contingency base.  We do not charge you any upfront costs.  In fact, if we do not win your case, we will not charge you any fees at all.

An experienced disability lawyer will greatly increase the possibility of you receiving benefits.  We are thoroughly knowledgeable of disability law, court proceedings, and the ability to appeal a case to the Federal Court if necessary.  If you attempt to handle your own case and lose, it could cost you tens of thousands of dollars.  It is not worth taking that chance.  The Social Security Administration limits the amount a lawyer can charge.  The fee for a successful case is paid by Social Security out of the past due award in your case, and is limited to $6,000 regardless of how much you receive.   For example if your monthly benefit amount is $1,200 and it took 24 months to be approved, you would be entitled to $28,800.  The maximum fee a lawyer can charge under an agency approved fee agreement is $6,000.  That means you would still have $22,800 in your pocket plus monthly benefits for the rest of your life, or as long as you qualify.

If you tried to represent yourself and lost, you, you would have nothing.  If you lose your case after asking a lawyer for assistance, you would still owe no fees to the lawyer.  Therefore, it costs noting to ask for help.  It is too important to risk making costly mistakes
